(Read more) Fairway Cottage – 104 Meadows Lane – Greenbrier Sporting Club This comfortable and roomy cottage at The Greenbrier Sporting Club is a golfer's dream come true, with a sweeping view overlooking the 14th fairway of the Meadows Course, and a stone's throw from the TPC Old White Course, home of the Greenbrier Classic, while providing ready access to this world class resort's many amenities. Five bedrooms, each with a private bath, provide a relaxing setting for a golfing foursome or a family that needs plenty of space. Oriented with a large screened porch facing the course, the parking area and main entry are on the opposite side of the house. A bluestone pathway winds up to the attractive white clapboard 2-story home with a green metal roof, 10-foot wide front steps, a covered porch, and a classic mahogany door. The entry leads into an inviting great room with 10-foot ceilings, solid wood stained paneling, antique heart pine flooring, recessed lighting, and a gas fireplace with a 52-inch Pioneer television over the mantel, with built-in bookcases and cabinets framing the sides.
